Understanding Grade Cards

The Grade Card reflects the progress your child has made this term. It is a valuable opportunity for you and your child to discuss their current Working at Grade (WAG), establish their strengths and areas for development. In order to support discussions with your child in reflecting on their Grade Card, Mrs Sattar has produced a video for each key stage that explains the contents of the Grade Card and how you can support your child at home.

Please be aware that rates of progress can vary between different subjects and therefore your child may have the same levels in two different subjects but a different progress indicator, this is perfectly normal. If you have any concerns regarding your child’s Grade Card please contact the academic subject teacher if it is subject-specific or the head of learning if it is a nonacademic concern.
