   Learning Support Assistant (University Placement)

Dates:                    1st September 2024

Salary:                    Bucks Pay scale 2.11-2.15:  FTE. - £21,879 - £23,961 Actual salary - £17,558 - £19,229. (dependent on experience).

Contract type:      35 hours per week, Term time only (39 weeks), Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:00 (including a half hour unpaid lunch break)

Contract term:     One-year fixed term contract

A rare opportunity has arisen to work within the support team of a prestigious and outstanding grammar school.  Examination results continue to ensure that Beaconsfield High School is one of the leading schools in the UK. 

We are looking for a pro-active and reliable Learning Support Assistant (‘LSA’) who will apply their own GCSE, A-Level and undergraduate degree level subject knowledge as well as their enthusiasm and creativity to support the progress and development of our students. The LSA will supervise our Learning Support classroom where students with varying learning difficulties as well as mental health requirements gather throughout the day. The LSA will also deliver tailored support to students across the curriculum but in particular in Psychology; a popular subject in our high achieving girls grammar school. The LSA will assist with revision and catch-up work either one-to-one or in small groups and will provide students with strategies to help them build their confidence and improve their organisational, executive and time management skills. They will also be a listening ear for individual students and help them with anything that may be worrying them and/or holding them back from achieving their individual academic objectives. The SLSA will be applying their subject knowledge both in providing academic support as well as in providing pastoral support.

 Netball Coach

 

NETBALL COACH (self-employed)

Salary:  Up to £30 per hour (Dependent on coaching experience/qualifications)

Hours: 6-10 hours per week, days of week flexible Monday-Friday afternoons
